The Atelier Process
PRE-BLOOM
Phase I
In a small bowl, introduce saffron threads to 20 ml of warm milk. Allow to rest for at least 20 minutes, encouraging full release of color and aroma.
SPICE BREW
Phase IIBring water to a gentle simmer. Add tea leaves, crushed cardamom, and fennel seeds. Allow the mixture to steep for 5–7 minutes, developing a deep, spiced infusion.
SAFFRON INTEGRATION
Phase III
Incorporate the saffron-infused milk along with sugar into the brew. Add the remaining milk and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer for 2–3 minutes, allowing all elements to harmonize.
PRESENTATION
Phase IVStrain the infusion into prepared serving cups. Optionally drizzle a small amount of concentrated saffron milk over the surface for an elevated visual finish.
SERVE & ENJOY
Phase VServe hot, ideally alongside delicate biscuits. Best enjoyed slowly, allowing the layered aromatics to unfold.
